You can, but most homeowners shut them down for winter. The main danger you may run into in the winter is not having enough water for the pump, in the event that a lot of ice has formed. If you can monitor it regularly, the ice formations can be incredible, and we can easily size up the winter storage to optimize for that. It’s your preference. If you are traveling in the winter, we recommend winterizing in late fall and restarting in spring. The process is simple, and we’ll walk you through it.
